Since the one part of the cage that really does all the work and interfaces with the user is the hook, it only makes sense to make sure that is the one part of the cage that works well – because if it doesn’t, somebody is getting frustrated or, worse yet, injured.
The Pro Style Monster Hook does its job very, very well. It is easy to use, it has a long and deep profile and it is fully welded with the exception of the replaceable space-age polymer contact surface. This is a contact surface that is tough enough to suffer through lots of high and heavy drops, yet never chip or flake like a hook with steel contact surfaces. Furthermore, the energy-absorbing properties of the polymer suppress the tendency of a dropped bar to bounce out, and it protects the knurling on the bar.
All in all, this is the best hook you will find on a “standard series” cage of any manufacture. Sold as a pair.
NOTE: This item is a substitution for the Beefy Hooks that are standard issue with all Performance Series cages. If the standard Beefy Hooks are wanted in addition to the 3207 upgrade, please indicate this to your Legend representative as it must be entered as a separate order.
