Our high-grade fully-machined plates with a rich baked Hammertone Gray enamel paint are made from ASTM Grade 20 cast iron and are designed to fit on all 2” bars and shafts.
The deep dish rim design allows easy handling. These Olympic plates are machined on rims, side, back and center to maintain a 2% plus or minus accuracy level.

Pros
- Uniform in weight, color, and quality.
- Easy to handle with wide flange.
- Strong, durable construction.
- Iconic look.
- Reasonably priced.
Cons
- This isn?t necessarily a con for the pro reasons stated above but I thought I was buying plates that were made in USA. So it was a little bit of a shock to see made in China stickers on my plates. HOWEVER, the Chinese did do a great job producing these plates and I AM Thankful to have them since quality Olympic plates are hard to acquire. As it stands now having used them they look great in my garage gym and I would not trade them for any other plate.
