Affordable quality, our VTX high-grade, wide-flanged, Olympic Grip Plates feature 3 slotted gripping areas (45 lb., 35 lb., 25 lb. and 10 lb. only) that actually raise the plates off of the ground, providing easier lifting and loading from a prone or angled position.
Raised reinforcements on both sides of each grip slot help make it a true institutional plate and the choice of trainers, world wide. Center bores are precision drilled for a snugger fit on most 2” Olympic bars. Rust resistant, twice baked gray enamel finish.
I just wanna say I’ve had these weights since I was 10 years old.. I’m now 27. I’ve put these weights through absolute utter hell. They’ve been outside, collected rain and even snow due to me moving and having nowhere to put them and they are still in amazing shape. Very minimal rust if any at all, they’ve truly stood the test of time and I continue to use them today. I will definitely be buying more.

So far so good. Bar was beat up a bit, but not bad. Weights are great. Only disappointment was they are made in CHINA. I thought they were USA made.
Pros
Great weights, Sturdy, Nice finish
Cons
Made in CHINA and bar was beat up a bit
Pretty good set...

No complaints about the weights themselves. The bar was shipped in a cardboard tube that was all-but destroyed by the time i got it. One thing about the bar is the ends arent smooth. Its more of a pain to put the weights on and take them off but not a deal breaker. The weights are pretty much on target. The collars are pretty cheap. The biggest complaint i have is the shipping company used. They dont tell you that you have to schedule your own delivery appointment. Then, they didnt show up in the two hour window we decided on, THEN i got a phone call from the driver saying he couldnt make it into my neighborhood with his truck and i had to come meet him somewhere. Pretty amateur. The movers didnt have a problem in the neighborhood when i moved in. Probably just lazy. The weights are decent though. Just alot of additional stress from shippers...
