Great buy - Perfect addition to our exercise routine

Verified BuyerI love my new weights. My husband has worked out with weights all his life and has invited me to join him. It isn't something I am naturally drawn to so I haven't . He has dumbbells that have weight plates so using them requires preparation - again, can't be bothered. After being convinced of the importance of weight training I began looking for something I would actually use and discovered that the vinyl coated are nice to hold and are easy to clean. This set is a colorful invitation to work out. An unintended benefit is that it actually decorates the workout room. It doesn't take up much space and the weights are ready when I am. There is some simple construction to the rack. I'm 58 and female. My husband is 73. This set is something we both are using and really like.
Pros
- The compact rack - very easy and convenient to use
- The vinyl coating
- The colorful display
- The pounds - no 1lb, but a 12 lb set
- FREE SHIPPING! Other companies were charging upwards of $100.00. The local stores weren't carrying a set like this.
Cons
- Not much, really. Just a couple imperfections: Was a little thrown that the screws on the rack, when tightened, held the pieces together loosely, but once it was on the floor, it holds the weights perfectly. Also one of the holes for the rod wasn't quite big enough, but with some turning, we got it to work.
