Horrible Smell

Verified BuyerThis rubber bumper plate is almost perfect. It is a solid piece of rubber with a metal insert. It will take a beating and last for many years.
However, there is a very strong "industrial rubber" smell emanating from it that permeates throughout several rooms. I have a home gym and the smell reaches about 30 feet outside the gym. I've read that washing these helps. I'll try that very soon. Otherwise, I will keep them outside and only bring them into the gym when I'm about to use them. Yes, it is that bad! It is bad enough for me to give these a 3 instead of 5 stars. I'm happy with Fitness Giant: the price was right, delivery was flawless! I will be buying from the again.
