First off, you can't beat the free shipping that Fitness Giant offers with this item, and their unbeatable price. As for the bar, I use it for everything. I love the larger grip and the durability. I was using cast plates for overheads but i stopped because the cast plates gouge the bar up a bit, but didnt deform it. Now that I have some cheaper bumper plates, zero problems. This bar actually weighs 47.5 lb, which I like!
Pros
  • Durability, performance. Love the split sleeves with bushings. Gnarling is perfect depth, it gives you the necessary grip without ripping your hands apart.
Cons
  • The ONLY thing i wish this bar had was center gnarling.
