Distinct Chemical Smell

Verified BuyerNo question the product is physically what I expected and the rack is super compact. However, the product has a very unpleasant chemical smell and the weights were covered with an oily substance. I suspect they product was still covered with whatever was used for mold release during manufacturing. I washed all the weights in de-greaser. This improved the situation but two weeks later and the smell is still noticeable. I hope it dissipates and given the manufacturing practices in China I do have some concern.
